Reporting to the Galapagos Operations Manager and working together with the Ecuador Operations team in Quito, the Galapagos Operations Supervisor is accountable for all land reservations in Galapagos and the accurate budgeting and reporting in accounting systems. The Galapagos Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all naturalist guides, boat operators and ground handlers have the necessary information to assist travelers.

- Reservations for all transport providers in Galapagos.
- Provide rooming lists and rooming configuration to Galapagos Operations for upcoming weeks for land programs and boat operation.
- Validation of all reservations in our system and accurate reporting of on tour changes and extras.
- Constant update and improvement of trip budgets.
- COGS (cost of goods) and accuracy of reporting.
- Informing Quito office of any changes to scheduled itineraries.
- Work together with Operations team in Quito and Accounts Payable to explain any invoices issues from providers and provide timely payment to vendors.
- Develop and manage key relationships and contracts with suppliers and work closely with the Product & Contracting team to inform on any reservation, service, accounting and related issues.
- Suppliers monthly service follow up, working closely with Customer Service and CEO Support Coordinator.
- Work together with Customer Service and Operations Manager to ensure all crew understand the impact of their positions in relation to NPS and service objectives.
- Lead the brand awareness of G Adventures in the local market. Manage and ensure that we provide the appropriate branding materials to suppliers and clients facing employees.
- Critical Incident Management assistance and logistical arrangements working closely with the Operations Manager, Customer Service and other involved departments.
- Source and suggest possible itineraries, source providers and assist in the development of new productos as driven by the Product team.

- 4+ years working in tourism operations and/or reservations.
- Specific Destination knowledge of Galapagos.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- General knowledge of technical boat operations, roles onboard and relevant contracts and vendors.
- Superior English language skills both written and oral.
- Superior knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Superior attention to detail, organization and coordination in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work independently with initiative; identify errors and inefficiencies in the work process; and the confidence to make decisions to solve problems.
- Ability to adapt to an environment that is subject to constant change with a positive and team-orientated outlook.
