Para aplicar a este puesto debe haber sido Director de Escuela Media o Secundaria por no menos de 3 años anteriormente, en Colegios Internacionales- Bilingües.
Coordinate and supervise all the activities corresponding to your section.
Maintain administrative meetings with the General Directorate and other section directors.
Develop and evaluate the implementation of programs of the section and provide the necessary training to the staff of the same.
Monitor and supervise curricular programs, lead relevant changes and updates.
Monitor and evaluate the curriculum standards of your section.
Evaluate the performance of all staff in your section and provide opportunities for professional growth and training.
Assign the schedules, responsibilities and distributions of the teaching staff in charge, always considering the interests of the students.
Be responsible for academic performance and general student well-being, as well as the discipline of students in your section.
Guarantee the implementation and implementation of a program in values ??for its section.
Promote knowledge and practice of institutional values ??among the members of its section.
Ensure safety, aesthetic maintenance and proper use of the infrastructure of your section.
Review and supervise the order of books and materials in its section
Prepare the annual budget for your section
Submit the final report of your section
Know all the rules and curricular proposals established for International Baccalaureate Programs in general and for the program applicable to their particular section, as well as the policies and programs determined by the Ministry of Education.
Work cooperatively with teachers, department heads, and principals of other sections of the campus to ensure the cohesion of International Baccalaureate programs: PEP, MYP and Diploma.
Implement policies so that the transition from one section to another is as harmonious as possible.
Stay current in curriculum design.
Assume responsibility for the monitoring of curriculum development and for the planning and adaptation of academic courses to the needs and interests of students.
Evaluate staff in order to strengthen programs for the benefit of students.
Conduct class observations and keep records of the same for subsequent evaluation and feedback of teachers and classroom assistants.
Encourage meetings that guarantee the teamwork of teaching and administrative staff.
Track the weekly planning of teachers in your section.
Monitor the work of teachers related to attention to individual differences and students with special assessment needs with the support of the DECE.
Assist teachers in the development of appropriate group management skills for the corresponding school ages.
Define the material and technological resources necessary for the proper development of the school process.
Monitor daily activities in order to achieve the objectives set.
Participate in the selection of personnel.
Hold periodic meetings with grade level and / or course leaders to address disciplinary and academic issues.
Hold meetings with teachers who require advice on disciplinary and academic management strategies.
Implement an effective orientation program for new teaching staff.
Control compliance with the labor discipline rules of the staff in charge.
Monitor the Community and Service program through supervisors.
Prepare the annual improvement plans for your section and record the corresponding evidence.
To mediate in the resolution of conflicts and to apply the disciplinary norms of the LOEI, the General Regulation to the LOEI and the internal normative documents.
Maintain channels of direct and permanent communication with the parents, teachers and students of the section.
