School Nurse Full Time

We are looking for a dedicated School Nurse to join our school community in Quito. Working under the supervision of the School Doctor, the School Nurse will provide ongoing nursing care, support emergency response, and help maintain a safe and healthy environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level nursing care for students during school hours
- Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries, escalating to the School Physician as needed
- Administer treatment plans and medications as directed by the School Physician
- Respond immediately to emergencies and accidents, following established protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records and monitor student health trends
- Manage the school dispensary, including inventory and proper storage of medicines and supplies
- Communicate with parents/guardians on relevant health matters
- Participate in health campaigns, emergency drills, and preventive education activities

Profile:
- Registered Nurse (RN) - licensed to practice in Ecuador
- Previous experience in school health, occupational health, or primary care preferred
- Knowledge of first aid, emergency care, and preventive health practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure
