Accounts Payable Clerk Bilingual

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, and collaborating with internal and external collaborators to support efficient operations.



Responsibilities:

- Process, verify, and reconcile invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate coding and recording of transactions.
- Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transactions.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor and address any discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial operations.
- Manage internal finance management, including adherence to finance protocols.
- Handle patient financial transactions, such as charging patients and providing detailed balances.

- Address and resolve chargebacks effectively according to the client's regulations.

Requirements:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

- Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly preferred;candidates without prior experience must demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- C1 English proficiency.
- Ability to work onsite in El Batan, Quito;Monday to Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM.
